About JYH

A mill built on hand-feel.

JYH is a family textile business in Xucun, Haining — a town that produces more decorative fabric than anywhere else in China. Since 2000 we have followed one idea: the fabric is only as good as the yarn inside it.

01 — The story

JYH began in 2000 as a household-textile maker in Xucun, Haining — a town that produces more decorative fabric than anywhere else in China. Finished curtains and upholstery were the first business, exported to Japan, Russia, Korea and the Middle East; today around 80% of output leaves China.

Decades of weaving taught us that a fabric is only as good as the yarn inside it. In 2023 we invested almost RMB 10 million in our own yarn line — air-textured and fancy yarns — so that hand-feel, colour and delivery could be controlled from the fibre up.

Today the yarn division spins for JYH's own fabric development and for knitters and brands abroad. Nine yarns carry full colour cards; the wider range runs from 1/8NM brushed qualities to fine 1/28NM blends. Yarn, fabric and finished product are developed under one roof — which is why we can answer for the feel, not just the spec.

03 — One roof

One house, three disciplines.

Yarn development, fabric weaving and finished-product production sit inside the same 22,600 m² facility. Nothing is bought in blind — every yarn is tested against the fabric it is meant to become.

Today the mill runs 3 yarn families and 9 catalogued yarns, from 1/8 to 1/28 Nm, with anti-pilling tested to 7,200 and 10,800 cycles.

Capabilities & process

04 — Quality

Quality is a process, not a promise.

Quality is checked at three points: incoming fibre, yarn in process and the finished cone. Every lot carries an ERP batch record, and test reports are shared with customers on request.

Anti-pilling tested

Yarns are tested to 7,200 or 10,800 cycles depending on the quality; results range from grade 3 to grade 3.5.

Batch-level traceability

An ERP batch code follows every lot from fibre to finished cone. Finished products can be traced back to the production line years later — a requirement we meet for our most demanding export market.

Measured defect rate

Finished curtains are produced at a defect rate of 0.05% (5 in 10,000 pieces), recorded through the same ERP system.

Audit-ready documentation

The factory completed a supply-chain pre-assessment with an international fashion retail group in 2026. Test reports, colour fastness records and audit documents are available to customers on request.

05 — Sustainability

Responsibility, step by step.

We do not publish figures we cannot verify. What we can state plainly is where recycled content sits in our range, and how traceability limits waste.

  • Recycled polyester is used across several qualities — Fable (50%), Cloud (60%) and Terra (51%) among them — with batch-level records for each order.
  • A scannable code on every fabric piece and ERP batch records let a production issue be traced to the exact lot; the same system keeps curtain defect rates at 0.05%, so less material is wasted.
  • Colour records are held per batch, so repeat orders can be matched without re-developing the shade from scratch.
  • Environmental and social audit documents are shared with customers on request; we take part in buyer pre-assessments and are working toward the next stage of audit.
