Capabilities
Developed here. Spun here. Checked here.
We keep the whole chain in-house — fibre selection, blending, air-texturing, fancy-yarn spinning, colour matching and final inspection — so a hand-feel can be repeated cone after cone.
Capabilities
Colour development
In-house colour cards for nine yarns, from a 40-shade shared palette to 231 shades for Blossom. Shades are matched against Pantone references or your own standard, with DTM sampling for bulk colour approval.
Yarn development
A sampling room works on blend, twist and brushing until the hand-feel matches the brief — brushed fluffy yarns, sueded ATY or heathered mélange. Standard shade samples usually take 7–12 days.
In-house spinning
Air-textured and fancy yarns are spun on JYH's own line, commissioned in 2023. The yarn feeds our own fabric development and is sold to knitters and brands; 300+ yarn styles are shown at a single trade fair.
Testing and traceability
Anti-pilling is tested to 7,200 or 10,800 cycles depending on the quality, with grades from 3 to 3.5. Every lot carries an ERP batch record, and finished curtains run at a defect rate of 0.05%.
02 — Process
From brief to delivery.
Five steps, one team. Your yarn never leaves our control.
Brief & swatch
You share a reference — a garment, a swatch, a count. We translate it into fibre, blend and structure.
Development
Sampling room trials blends and twist levels until the hand-feel matches the brief.
Spinning
Air-textured and fancy yarns are spun on our own line, with batch records from the first metre.
Colour
Shade matching against your standard, then a full colour card and hank set for approval.
Inspection & delivery
Anti-pilling, count and appearance checked before packing — cones, hanks or cartons, export-ready.
03 — Quality & compliance
Quality & compliance.
Quality is checked at three points: incoming fibre, yarn in process and the finished cone. Every lot carries an ERP batch record, and test reports are shared with customers on request.
Yarns are tested to 7,200 or 10,800 cycles depending on the quality; results range from grade 3 to grade 3.5.
An ERP batch code follows every lot from fibre to finished cone. Finished products can be traced back to the production line years later — a requirement we meet for our most demanding export market.
Finished curtains are produced at a defect rate of 0.05% (5 in 10,000 pieces), recorded through the same ERP system.
The factory completed a supply-chain pre-assessment with an international fashion retail group in 2026. Test reports, colour fastness records and audit documents are available to customers on request.
Test reports, composition files and audit documents are shared with customers on request. Please ask us for the current certification list.
04 — Responsibility
Responsibility is a paper trail.
We do not publish figures we cannot verify. What we can state plainly is where recycled content sits in our range, and how traceability limits waste.
Recycled polyester is used across several qualities — Fable (50%), Cloud (60%) and Terra (51%) among them — with batch-level records for each order.
A scannable code on every fabric piece and ERP batch records let a production issue be traced to the exact lot; the same system keeps curtain defect rates at 0.05%, so less material is wasted.
Colour records are held per batch, so repeat orders can be matched without re-developing the shade from scratch.
Environmental and social audit documents are shared with customers on request; we take part in buyer pre-assessments and are working toward the next stage of audit.
05 — FAQ
Good questions.
The things buyers and designers ask us most often. Anything else — write to us.
What is your minimum order quantity?
It depends on the quality and on whether you choose a colour from the card or need a custom shade. Carded colours are usually available from a lower quantity than custom shades, which need their own dye lot. Tell us the yarn, the colour and the quantity you have in mind and we will confirm the MOQ for that specific order.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. We send hanks, cones and physical colour cards to designers and buyers. Standard shade samples typically take around 7–12 days; a new custom blend or a heavy brushing development may take a little longer. The sample quantity and lead time are confirmed per quality, and Pantone references make colour matching much faster.
How does colour matching work?
Send a Pantone reference, a physical swatch or the colour standard you work to. For carded colours we match to the existing card; for custom shades we produce a DTM sample for your approval before bulk production. Screens vary, so please confirm shades against the physical colour card we send.
What do your anti-pilling results mean?
Depending on the quality, yarns are tested to 7,200 or 10,800 cycles and graded — our carded yarns currently fall between grade 3 and grade 3.5. The test cycles and grade are listed on each yarn page, and full test reports are available on request.
Which certifications do you hold?
We do not display certification marks we cannot document. Test reports, colour fastness records and factory audit documents are shared with customers on request — ask us for the current list for your market, and we will send what applies to the yarn you are buying.
Can you develop a yarn for our brand?
Yes — that is most of what the sampling room does. We work on blend, count, twist and brushing to reach a target hand-feel, and can develop colours against your standard. Custom developments usually start with a sample hank for approval and then move to a dye lot with an agreed MOQ.
How do you ship, and which markets do you serve?
Samples normally travel by courier; bulk orders are quoted FOB, with other terms agreed per order. We have exported directly since the early 2000s and work with buyers in Japan, Russia, Korea, the Middle East, Turkey, Europe and the US. Export documents are prepared for each shipment.
Can we visit the mill or showroom?
Yes, by appointment. We are at No. 139 Xucun Avenue, Xucun Town, Haining, Zhejiang, in the Xucun textile cluster. We are open Monday to Saturday, 09:00–18:00 (GMT+8). Write to us before you travel and we will prepare the yarns and colour cards you want to see.
